Construction of the KP15 Pressure Switch:

The KP15 houses two independent control circuits—for low and high pressure—within a single corrosion- and impact-resistant plastic enclosure. Pressure connections are made of brass or stainless steel. The adjustment mechanism, consisting of screws, allows precise pressure settings at which the switch activates. The electrical outputs feature SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw) contacts, facilitating connections to control circuits.

Operating Principle:

• Low-Pressure Operation: When system pressure drops below the set minimum level, the pressure switch disconnects the electrical circuit, shutting off the compressor or other device.
• High-Pressure Operation: When pressure exceeds the set maximum level, the switch interrupts the circuit, halting system operation.
• Reset: The built-in auto-reset mechanism automatically restores the circuit connection when pressure returns to a safe range.
• Adjustment: The KP15 allows manual setting of cut-off values for both low and high pressure.
